Axial NCCT (A) on admission shows a large heterogeneous mixed solid and cystic mass in the right parieto-occipital lobe with surrounding vasogenic edema that extends anteriorly and laterally. Coronal T2-weighted MRI (B) performed 2 days after the initial NCCT confirms a supratentorial, intra-axial mass in the right parieto-occipital lobe with cystic degeneration and lobulated solid components (red arrow). There is surrounding T2-hyperintense vasogenic edema extending laterally in the temporo-occipital lobes. Axial DWI (C) shows solid tumoral components with mild restricted diffusion (blue arrow) with low ADC values (not shown). Axial SWAN (D) shows minute areas of susceptibility due to microhemorrhages. Axial T1-weighted image (E) demonstrates the mass abutting the dural margin posteriorly (green arrow) and effacing the right posterior horn of the lateral ventricle. Axial postcontrast T1-weighted sequence (F) depicts speckled enhancement within the solid components of the lesion.
