Subependymoma
- Hamartomatous vs. low-grade (WHO I) tumors of adults, 50-60 yrs
- Locations: 4
th ventricle (may extend to CPA cistern), lateral ventricles adjacent to septum pellucidum, and spinal cord - Over 50% contain calcification, isointense to brain on T1 and T2, none to mild contrast enhance
- Most common 4
th ventricular primary tumor or adults (adjacent to obex)
