    • Online Figure (PDF) - Normal T2 imaging findings on the 0.35T MRI in Malawi. These are 3 representative axial T2 FSE images obtained on a healthy subject through a funded research project designed to establish the range of normal brain imaging findings in the Malawian population (1R21NS069228) on the 0.35T magnet located at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre, Malawi. These images are from a Malawian girl, 7 years 6 months of age. A, Normal T2 signal-intensity ratio between basal ganglia and the adjacent cortical gray matter (equal to slightly decreased). B, Normal appearance of the periventricular and subcortical white matter, along with good gray/white delineation.
