This observational study compared the acquisition time, image quality, diagnostic confidence, and lesion detection rates among sagittal T2WI, standard DIR, and DL-reconstructed DIR in patients with inflammatory myelopathies. It was found that DL-reconstructed DIR significantly reduced acquisition time and improved image quality. DL-reconstructed DIR also improved lesion detection, showing superior diagnostic performance in inflammatory myelopathies without compromising diagnostic confidence.

This study uses simultaneous PET/MRI, which integrates structural connectivity, functional connectivity, and glucose metabolism in IGE to elucidate abnormalities of the neocortex and to analyze the correlations between these abnormalities and clinical presentations. The results show dissociated patterns of abnormalities: structural connectivity abnormalities in the limbic and visual networks, functional connectivity deficits in the default mode network, and metabolic reductions in the frontoparietal and somatomotor networks.
