Pituitary Stone
- Extensive calcification of the pituitary gland is rare.
- The calcification varies in extent but rarely exceeds a tiny amount, histologically or radiologically. Generally classified as linear, capsular, or granular within the adenoma.
- The endocrine function varies from normal to decreased secretion of Prolactin, GH, TSH, LH, and FSH.

- Calcification on CT
- Susceptibility on MRI
- DDx:
- Craniopharyngioma
- Pituitary Tuberculosis
- Meningioma
- Rx: Surgical resection
