Ecchordosis Physaliphora
- Ecchordosis physaliphora (EP) is a retroclival notochordal remnant seen in 2% of the autopsy cases.
- Usually asymptomatic. However, few symptomatic cases have been reported. In such cases, EP has been reported as responsible for non-specific symptoms such as headache and dizziness. Rare complications associated with EP include CSF fistula and fatal pontine hemorrhage.
- Key Diagnostic Features: Retroclival cystic or soft tissue lesion, sometimes associated with a stalk with no diffusion restriction or contrast enhancement.

- Treatment: "Touch-me-not" category lesion.
