AB  - Retrospective MR studies of four patients with neurologic symptoms after inhalation of contaminated heroin vapor revealed extensive, typically symmetrical lesions in the white matter of the cerebrum, cerebellum, and midbrain. Selective involvement of the corticospinal tract, the solitary tract, and the lemniscus medialis also has been found.
