The New AJNR: Personalized for YOU ================================== * Lubdha Shah * Max Wintermark The new digital *American Journal of Neuroradiology (AJNR)* is for YOU, our *AJNR* readers. This transition to a purely electronic format accompanies exciting enhancements to the *AJNR* Web site. We’ve developed many new features with a focus on making rapidly progressing scientific and educational content more accessible. The new interface will not only be more straightforward to navigate with easily searchable content, but also will be personalized to the reader’s interests through our redesigned homepage. Cultivated collections of articles will be changeable depending on the reader’s preferences. Unlike the print format, which allowed only static images, the digital format will have multimedia capabilities such that authors will be able to submit stacks of medical images and video clips to better demonstrate the findings and convey critical points. The online platform will also enable high image resolution. In line with the multimedia capabilities, there will be a new type of journal article: the video article. Authors will have the opportunity to create a brief video with narration to explain procedures, innovative findings, and complicated concepts, which may be better described visually. The *AJNR* Editorial Board will continue to uphold the rigorous standards of quality and integrity to ensure *AJNR* provides the highest quality of research and innovative clinical advances. This new digital format is in keeping with the current evolution of digital academic publishing. The advancements were developed based on the comments we received from our readers, authors, and reviewers. They represent the vision of the Editor-in-Chief and Deputy Editor with achievement as the result of considerable efforts from *AJNR* editorial staff and *AJNR* Junior Editors. With input from our stakeholders, this format will continue to improve. The new digital *AJNR* will reach a wider readership of not only radiologists of various subspecialties and levels of training but also other medical specialties from all over the world. We are thrilled and confident that this digital evolution will reinforce *AJNR* as the premiere journal of neuroradiology as well as the official journal of the American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR), the American Society of Functional Neuroradiology (ASFNR), the American Society of Head & Neck Radiology (ASHNR), the American Society of Pediatric Neuroradiology (ASPNR), and the American Society of Spine Radiology (ASSR). * © 2024 by American Journal of Neuroradiology
